Install the extension and open the side panel. Go to Account, pick a plan, and you'll be taken to a secure Stripe checkout. Payment is confirmed instantly — your plan upgrades right away with no restart needed.
Open the extension, go to Account → Manage / Cancel. This opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can switch between Pro and Ultra at any time. Any price difference is automatically prorated for the current billing period. If you downgrade, your existing cloud data stays put — you'll just need to trim your memory count to resume syncing if you're over the new plan's limit.
Go to Account → Manage / Cancel in the extension to open the Stripe portal and cancel with one click. Your paid features stay active until the end of the current billing period, then your account rolls back to Free. Your local data is never touched — it stays in your browser regardless.
Yes — subscriptions renew automatically on your billing date via Stripe. You'll receive a receipt email from Stripe before each charge. To avoid the next billing cycle, cancel before your renewal date.
All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) are supported through Stripe. SiderMem never sees or stores your card details.
We generally don't offer refunds — a Free Tier is available so you can evaluate the product before committing. That said, if you forgot to cancel and genuinely didn't use any paid features during the billing period (no cloud sync, no sharing, no AI summaries), email us at support@sidermem.com and we'll review it. We want to be fair.
Cloud sync pauses once you hit your plan's memory limit — your existing synced memories remain fully accessible, nothing is deleted. Deleting any memories immediately frees up quota. AI operations pause similarly when you exhaust your monthly allowance and resume automatically on the first of the next month, or instantly if you upgrade.
No — AI Summarization and Restructuring quota resets on the first day of each calendar month. Unused operations do not carry forward.
Local memories live exclusively in your browser's IndexedDB and are completely free and unlimited on every plan. Cloud sync backs them up to our servers and makes them available across your devices, subject to each plan's quota. You can use SiderMem as a fully local tool and opt into cloud sync whenever you're ready.
Pro and Ultra users can publish any memory as a clean public webpage with one click. The memory must be synced to the cloud first. You can revoke the public link at any time — it becomes inaccessible immediately.
You don't organize anything by hand. Every web page, note, file, or AI chat you save gets automatically analyzed to extract the entities and topics it touches on, which are then merged into a connected personal wiki — one page per topic, aggregating everything you've ever saved about it. No manual tagging, no folders to maintain. That wiki is what powers Graph View and Ask.
Graph View is an interactive map of your personal wiki — each node is a topic your saved memories touch on, and edges connect related topics, so you can visually explore how your notes fit together. Ask lets you type a question in plain language and get an answer grounded in those wiki pages, built from your own saved content rather than a generic model response. Both features read only from your knowledge base, and Ask usage is metered by your plan's monthly "Ask Queries" quota (see pricing above).
Yes — cloud sync is available on all plans (100 memories on Free, 1000 on Pro, unlimited on Ultra). Once a memory is synced, it's accessible from any device where you're logged in. Local-only memories stay in your browser's IndexedDB and are never uploaded unless you choose to sync them. Web sync is opt-in: you stay in full control of what leaves your device.
